Wordless Wednesday - Autumn V
The leaves are changing colour and the sun is shining ....
every day brings new autumn joys
The light is fantastic ... the birds are singing
and everywhere you look there is change ...
Light through leaves is always special....
But we know winter is coming ...
because the animals are getting ready ....
so step out in the sunshine and enjoy!
I love the pictures of the beautiful autumn leaves, but the squirrel and bird photos are darling.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful time of year. I love seeing how everyone is enjoying it through all their beautiful pictures. The one of the squirrel is so cute... but my Ellie would be chasing right after it. :) -Jackie
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou even manage to make a grey squirrel look lovable.
Love the little bird on the blue ball. How sweet. I love the autumn colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the squirrel shot. They are so darn cute! I just wish they didn't eat all my bird food in one meal. I reall loved your leaf shots but I think I like the soft green one best. Yeah, I know I am supposed to like the red one. The soft focus of the green one is just so striking and intimate.
ReplyDeletevery pretty photos! Can't wait for all the fall colors to arrive hear.
ReplyDeleteLovely post -- except for that little bulb-eating monster in the last picture. I love autumn.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots! Autumn is starting to look good around here too. The leaves won't be at their peak for a couple of weeks, though. Our weather has been much cooler with no humidity...but today was actually in the 70's and perfect! I could be happy with weather like this all year round. We've been having lows in the 40's so frost will eventually hit...and I still have some plants in pots that I got this summer and still haven't put them in the ground! I haven't been able to garden because of other commitments so I'm hoping I'll get them planted before they die on me. Happy Autumn!
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures! Only when I go for holidays during autumn then I would have a chance to see these plants in real.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute robin on the blue orb.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
Beautiful photography ... Whenever I see your little English robins I cannot help but think of 'The Secret Garden'. I love the reflections in the pond... and yes the light is lovely. Carol
ReplyDeleteHow glorious!! I love the colours in the first picture. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, it's a wonderful time of year, isn't it? Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous fall pictures and you got a great capture of the squirrel with its nut! I love fall. It's my favorite time of year (next to spring).
ReplyDeleteWhat delightful photos.
ReplyDeleteWhere is that water feature? I guess a gardener has to prune those water lily leaves into perfect circles? Or are they just well behaved?
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, these are truly beautiful pictures of fall, make so much more enchanting with the birds and squirrels. I feel like walking in the woods with Goldlocks. I can't get enough of them. I want more!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I miss little Robin Redbreast! Your pictures took me back to England. Thank you. PamsEnglishGarden.
